This thread: http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=176551&page=2 was recently closed because its content "belongs in the thread: "Ongoing climate denialist lies repository"".

It is, however, a discussion not of climate change but of a study on the repercussions of climate change.  And while the OP was probably trolling, it seemed to me to be a completely valid topic to discuss.

I haven't been keeping up with all the global warming threads, and maybe they've been taking over the forum, in which case I guess I can understand this action, but otherwise, I don't really understand the problem with having a separate thread for a separate issue, particularly when most of the participants were actually discussing that particular issue.

Anyway, not a particularly big deal.
